Nurture those tiny sparks of wisdom
“New possibilities can be thought of as already contained within present moment reality. They need only be nurtured in order to unfold and be discovered.”
That was one of the sentences that stood out to me while reading Jon Kabat-Zinn’s book, Full Catastrophe Living.
To me, it reaffirmed my belief that we already naturally contain the wisdom we need to thrive – to succeed, to build the lives of our dreams, to uncover energetic health.
What we need to do is learn to listen to our bodies and trust them. There are those little nuggets of wisdom just trying to get your attention! They get drowned out by all the noise in our usual daily lives, but, if we can tune in, just quiet ourselves for a short time, well hear. We’ll hear, and we’ll benefit.
One of the best ways you can fine tune your health is to learn to listen to your body. No, not your head! It’s easy to confuse the two, but, if you are quiet and touch base with your heart and soul, you’ll get the information you seek.
When you do that, you shift away from feeling helpless and hopeless about your life and your health to finding new possibilities in how to bring about what you want.
“There is more right with you than wrong with you,” Mr. Kabat-Zinn also said. Believe in that, and believe that your own true wisdom will never steer you wrong.
